Anche con il cibo, è bene permettere al bambino (1-2anni) di mangiare da solo i cibi solidi, perché la possibilità di gestirsi in modo autonomo è un ottimo incentivo.
Non bisogna quindi spazientirsi se usa la forchetta in modo maldestro o se mangia con le mani, per insegnargli le buone maniere a tavola c'è ancora tempo!
Afferrare i pezzettini di cibo e le mollichine di pane con le mani è un ottimo servizio, sviluppa la manualità, stimola la prensione a pinza superiore, serve per la coordinazione occhio-mano e spinge il bambino alla soddisfazione di una "piccola/grande" autonomia!
